Digital Switchover 2027: DHSC & DSIT Telecare National Action Plan published  ·  BT & VMO2 National Telecare Campaign live

The community guiding the care sector through the digital switch — together.

About Us

UK Telehealthcare is the membership platform that connects providers, commissioners, housing associations and technology partners across the digital care sector. As the industry moves away from analogue telecare ahead of the 2027 PSTN switch-off, we bring our members together — sharing the knowledge, network and resources they need to make the transition with confidence and deliver better outcomes for the people who rely on care every day

UKTelehealthcare is the independent, impartial membership organisation for professionals and organisations working across Telecare and Telehealth. Our membership spans the full spectrum of the sector, from clinical commissioning groups and registered social landlords to service providers, suppliers, and anyone with a related professional interest.

At the heart of everything we do is a commitment to raising the profile of Telecare and Telehealth. We champion awareness of how Technology Enabled Care Services (TECS) can transform lives empowering service providers to deliver cost-effective, high-quality support and care to a wider range of patients and service users.

Our supply members include UK-based and international companies marketing the hardware, software, and apps that help people live more independently and stay in their own homes for as long as possible. Our provider members bring together local authorities, housing and social care providers, and both public and private health and care organisations.

Ross Barrie
Managing Director

As Managing Director of UK Telehealthcare and CEO of the Andor Holding Group, I bring members two decades of experience built entirely within the health and social care sector — not from the sidelines, but from building and running the businesses that serve it every day.

Over the past 20 years, every company I have founded and grown from the ground up has been focused on health and social care. This spans Direct Payment and appointeeship administration, payroll bureau services for the care market, and prepaid card solutions designed specifically for care funding. That sustained focus has given me a deep, practical understanding of how care services are funded, delivered and managed — along with first-hand experience of building the operating models, systems and teams that make them work at scale.

Through this work I have developed strong, long-standing relationships across the sector, including Local Authorities, Integrated Care Boards, Housing Associations and private sector care providers. I understand the pressures each of these organisations faces, the way they commission and operate, and what it takes to deliver solutions that are both practical and sustainable.

It is this combination — focused sector knowledge, commercial experience and a genuine operator’s perspective — that I bring to UK Telehealthcare. As health and social care navigates the shift to digital and the move away from analogue telecare, I am committed to helping our members meet that challenge with confidence, and to ensuring UK Telehealthcare adds real, measurable value to every organisation it works with.

Lee Thompson - UK Telehealthcare
Lee Thompson
Head of Sales

Lee is Head of Sales for the Andor Holding Group, a people-first organisation committed to delivering tailored, person-centred services across health and social care.

With a portfolio of affiliate businesses spanning prepaid card payment solutions through Andor Cards, bookkeeping and direct payments support, wills and estate planning, and international care services, Lee plays a pivotal role in driving growth, building strategic partnerships, and opening new opportunities across the Group’s expanding portfolio.

At the heart of Lee’s work is a genuine passion for improving outcomes in the private and public domain. Working closely with partners, commissioners, and innovators alike, Lee brings a relationship-driven approach to sales that prioritises meaningful, long-term collaboration over transactional outcomes. This ethos sits naturally alongside UK Telehealthcare’s mission to support health and care professionals in delivering the widest possible range of Technology Enabled Care Services to those who need them most.

As part of the Andor Holding Group’s involvement with UK Telehealthcare, Lee is focused on bridging the gap between next-generation digital health technology and the Local Authorities and care providers needing to prepare for the digital switchover. With a strong network of specialists, a data-led approach to service improvement, and a clear commitment to positive change, Lee is well placed to support organisations in navigating this critical period of transformation and seizing the significant opportunities it presents.

One of Lee’s key priorities is the active growth of the UK Telehealthcare membership community. By leveraging existing relationships across health, social care, and technology, Lee is working to bring new members into the fold – from local authority commissioners and housing providers through to innovative technology suppliers and private care organisations.

The goal is simple: a broader, more diverse membership means richer knowledge sharing, stronger collective influence, and ultimately better outcomes for the service users and carers that UK Telehealthcare exists to support.
